HUNTSVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) ? Huntsville-Madison County Emergency Communications District has filed a class action complant against Knology.
???? The 911 board is seeking uncollected ?9-1-1 charges,? that could exceed $5 million dollars.
???? The board claims every phone capable of calling 911, should be charged an emergency fee.?
???? That cost is $2.19 for each residential line.
???? The board also has a pending lawsuit filed about six months ago against Magic Jack for the same reasons as Knology.
