Two New Jersey women pleaded guilty Tuesday to stealing more than $7-million worth of drugs donated by a pharmaceutical company for HIV and cancer treatment, according to NJToday.net. Keisha Jackson, 47, of Perth Amboy, and Jameshia Bryant, 26, of South River, each face up to 20 years in prison after admitting to conspiracy charges.

Ms. Jackson, Ms. Bryant, and a third defendant who has yet to be tried worked as customer-service representatives for a company contracted to provide administrative support for the program to funnel free medication to poor patients. Prosecutors said they used the firm?s computer system to enter hundreds of fraudulent orders and route the medications to their homes and those of others involved in the scheme in order to sell the drugs at a profit.

Ms. Jackson and Ms. Bryant are set to be sentenced at separate hearings in February.
